Without a proper hiding and sleeping place, reptiles can easily develop stress that can affect their well-being and appetite. The Exo Terra® Corner Cave offers your reptiles, amphibians or invertebrates a safe hiding and sleeping place, while the humid microclimate supports thermoregulation and hydration and promotes reptiles' natural molting process. The unique hygroscopic properties of the ceramic material naturally regulate the humidity and temperature of the cave by absorbing and slowly releasing moisture from the water tank. Sufficient humidity creates a healthy environment and helps prevent respiratory infections. The aesthetic and space-saving design allows the Exo Terra® Corner Cave to fit neatly into the corner of your terrarium. The natural appearance of this eco-friendly ceramic cave easily integrates into any type of terrarium, and by simply adding moistened Exo Terra® Forest Moss or Sphagnum Moss, the cave provides an ideal egg-laying site for various species of reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates.

The water reservoir of the Corner Cave should always be filled with water to ensure that the microclimate maintains the optimal temperature and humidity for your animals (and their eggs).
