The lamp represents nearly double the light output (LUX) and has a CRI of over 95 allowing you, the keeper, to see your animal in all its natural glory.

Perfect for bearded dragons

The upper index for a dry species such as a bearded dragon (UV-I 6.00) is set at a massive 15" or 35-40 cm from the reflected lamp to the animals back at the 'basking' or shortest point. This allows you to create 'wild-type' energy indices with an energy-rich, wide basking zone, while having ample access to light and shade for natural self-regulation.
High UV-B levels

The increased level of UV-B energy balanced with 30% UV-A makes this lamp simply perfect for use in vivariums 24"/60cm tall or more.
It will also help tremendously for those using terrariums with a mesh top, as the extra energy will allow light to penetrate deeper into the enclosure, putting wildlife-like indices of UV-B at a safer distance.
