ShadeDwellerPro-Arboreal is the ideal solution for providing soft full-spectrum+UV-B lighting for tree-dwelling and climbing species of reptiles.

The Arcadia Reptile 8w 12"/30cm ProT5 luminaire is used and loved by thousands of reptile keepers around the world, it is streamlined, stylish, robust, easy to use and allows easy coupling of further ProT5 luminaire and JungleDawn LED Bar. The ProT5 reflector provides a smooth light in the middle of width and is perfect for creating an easy-to-measure resting place for any kind. However, for 'shadow-dwelling' species such as eyelash geckos, some day geckos, amphibians and smaller snakes that can easily move up to the lamp, more UV energy is found. UV energy is of course vital, but we need to make sure that we do not give UV indices that are higher than what nature has provided a "use ofr" and a "level of protection against".

ShadeDwellerPro-Arboreal is designed to be used safely and effectively in vivariums or over vivariums with a standard mesh lid. It offers the ideal UVI and allows the residents to take full advantage of the activated color vision and the naturally effective D3 cycle. With our proven and tested ShadeDweller-Arboreal lamp with 2.4% UV-B, 12% UV-A and high CRI, you can be sure of a safe and effective UV Index, even if the animal is moving high in its environment.

ShadeDwellerPro-Arboreal is perfect for shade-dwelling species such as eyelash geckos and species that fall into ferguson zones 1-2, depending on the stride length, climbing ability and need for a smaller area of UV energy. Consult the Arcadia 'Lighting Guide' online for advice on species.

We should always ensure access to UV energy over an area that covers the whole body of the animal, from nose to cloaca in lizards and the whole snake when rolled up, of course, this sun zone should be accompanied by equal or greater access to gradual shade, vertically or horizontally, or both. In this way, the animal can travel to gain energy under the lamp and naturally regulate its exposure itself.
