ShadeDweller™ of Arcadia Reptile is a special 8W SO-T5 bulb that is specifically designed for Shade Dwelling (Dim) types, but also suitable for many animal species that live in shallow enclosures.

This 8W lamp uses the latest German technique to produce a high-quality, clear and very stable projection of UV-rich light for a whole year of use.

The lamp is energy efficient and has a power of only 8 watts and a length of 12 "/30 cm.
Perfect for creating usable areas of ' light and shadow ' for the accurate and safe self-regulation of the essential D3 cycles.

ShadeDweller™ produces the perfect ratio of 17% UV-A and 7% UV-B for an effective and natural production of vitamin D3, where an average UV index of 0.80-1.00 can be achieved at 10 "/25 cm of the lamp.
This well-designed lamp is perfect for use with Dim types like the Leopard Gecko, Crested Gecko, many amphibians and Inverts.
The bulb can also be used with many diurnal types of snakes that can easily climb to regulate their own level of exposure in shallow vivaria such as corn, king, milk and rat snakes.

The Arcadia Reptile ' ShadeDweller™ ' increases a power of approximately 400 lumens and retains a color of 6k Kelvin, while providing a clear and very natural CRI of more than 90.

This lamp is available as standard in two complete lighting sets and as a replacement bulb that can be used in any 8watt T5 system, such as the original Arcadia Reptile UVMiniKit or 8 standard controllers.
