This ancient insect is lightning fast, light-shy and reproduces rapidly in warm environments.
At about 25 mm, the redrunner is about the size of an adult house cricket.
The male has wings, the female does not, but neither can fly.
The redrunner is a small-sized species of cockroach from Pakistan.

Redrunners are great food for geckos, bearded dragons, chameleons and other lizards. Redrunners are available as adults and as half-grown specimens.
