Dutchy's 10.000 predatory mite - against mites ect.
Dutchy's® his predatory mites from the family Laelapidae and in large parts of Europe freely in nature. They live in the ground and hunt there in all kinds of soil organisms. When we turn these predatory mites in animal shelters, they are fierce opponents of including mites. They hunt all day behind them and kill them to eat them then. It is a matter of time; the mites are almost always the winner.
Dutchy's lifecycle
Dutchy's® are about 1 mm in size. They have a drop-shaped body, are light in color and very mobile. They feed on all kinds of organisms, such as the larvae of tiny mosquitoes, springtails and different types of mites, including mites. The eggs are deposited in the ground or in some other suitable place. After a few days here come the larvae, which after several molts eventually adult mites. Dutchy's® eat an average of 5 mites per day. When we put them in a timely manner, they will often prevent the development of a pest. They are also able to combat significant damage, but then there must be turned several predatory mites.
When Dutchy's® has deployed it may be that you are going to observe more mites over a period of several days. This is because the mites are driven by the predatory mites from their shelters. However, the predatory mites will continue to chase after them so that this effect, after a short period of time disappears. Dutchy's® are also able to survive periods of food scarcity. There is not only breeding site. Also, they eat one another as needed. They do nothing with our animals. For permanent lack of food, they die after a few weeks.
The predatory mite lives on average 6 weeks.
Environment Dutchy's
Dutchy's® life preferably at a temperature of 15 to 25 ºC. When the temperature is below or above these values comes they go over in a resting phase. She then calmly wait until the conditions are better and then go hunting again then. When they are exposed to frost, they will die almost all.
When the predatory mites are delivered they are packed with an amount of humus rich scatter material. This material can be purchased in bottles or in Mite Booster patterns. There are bottles of 2500 pieces (10 doses), 5,000 units (20 doses) and 10,000 (40 doses). The Mite Booster patterns have a fixed amount of predatory mites.
When you look at the material containing the Dutchy with a magnifying glass, you see the mites move between the grains. It is envisaged that the spreading material from the bottles in small heaps in sheltered places in the animal comes to lie. When the Mite Booster patterns are ordered, they can be mounted in the holder Mite Booster and reach the animal from there. In the first two weeks the daily mites back into the spreading material to meet and mate. Also there are still a lot of eggs and larvae in this material that can come from it all yet. For the exact way of expansion and the dosages, please refer to the specific user manuals.

Dosage of Dutchy's®
Currently you can choose between two methods of plotting the Dutchy's®: using a bottle and using the Mite Booster®. When you buy a bottle of mites, you can dose themselves in various places in the animal. When you turn off the mites at a slight contamination one bottle cap scatter material per square meter is sufficient. If there is a moderate infestation is better to two, or when it comes to laying down three cups per square meter animal enclosure serious damage. These heapsdo not have to be evenly distributed over the entire animal shelter. Along the side walls is fine, but if you stick to the aforementioned doses.
U calculated by the number of square meters of the surface of the bottom and side wall of at least 1 to adding together. Have you calculated the amount! Enter your order through our webshop.
Whenever you use the Mite Booster system, you can buy yourself holders and cartridges filled with Dutchy's. By degradation and per species you can determine the amount you need. You can read the manuals of the Mite Booster.
Use chemicals i.c.m. mites
The use of chemical pesticides is not recommended shortly before or after deploying Dutchy's®. These substances will impair the population of the predatory mites and can even ensure that this whole dying, once with the remnants of these substances have come into contact.
It is wise to eight after the use of these resources a waiting period of at least 6 weeks before taking off putting Dutchy's®. When we hang nests in pretreated bird cages this is no problem, but then if the nests are untreated. It is wise to turn off the mites than in nests.
