HabiStat Turtle Food is formulated with all natural ingredients, including calcium and vitamin D3. This high-fiber, low-protein, calcium-rich food should be used as part of a varied and balanced diet with plenty of fresh leaves and plants.

Suitable for European, Russian and most other terrestrial turtles.

When it comes to tortoises, there is a wide choice, but the favorites are without a doubt the Herman and Horsefield species. In the wild, both species come out of hibernation and roam the vast meadows of their biome, where they take their pick of the lush spring growth.

With this in mind, we have added a new flavor to the HabiStat Tortoise food range, Meadow Mix, which reflects the taste of the meadows from their natural habitat.

Feeding Instructions: Wet until soft and replace daily. Store in a cool, dry place. Feed should be offered every day to young turtles (up to 3 years old) and every other day to older turtles. Turtles are grazers and will always return to the food source made available to them during the day. Don't worry if they don't eat all the food on their first visit, but watch their daily intake. Make sure fresh water is always available for the turtle to drink, because contrary to popular belief, turtles do drink water.
