The Arcadia Reptile JungleDawn-LED bar is sleek, bold, powerful, able to provide the energy needed to grow plants, and actively nurture Arid species by increasing visible light levels in terrariums and vivariums. This clever system uses the very latest "Full-Spectrum High Output" LED diodes to project a massive 141 lumens per watt.
Place one on a mesh or fit it inside an enclosure, wherever you decide to use yours, JungleDawn-LED Bar will provide a high level of high-quality, high-energy light.

Using a specially designed mix of Full-spectrum, High Output LEDs, we have created an LED bar that can project a huge amount of light with a very high PAR value. JungleDawn-LED Bar projects a Full-Spectrum of light that mimics visible natural sunlight (6200kelvin), along the "Photosynthetic Active Response Curve," but without the use of PAR-limiting individual red and blue diodes.
As such, the JungleDawn-Pro fitting has a high PAR, a high percentage of PUR, a high CRI and no unnatural "purple tint.

Arcadia JungleDawn-LED Bar can be easily linked together to form a chain of up to 10 pieces. It can also be paired with Arcadia Reptile 'ProT5' UV-B systems, reducing the number of outlets required per enclosure. Each unit comes with a power cable with integrated switch, a fitting kit to place this bar inside a vivarium and with a 'Link' cable. JungleDawn-LED Bar can be used with all standard 'mesh top' terrariums, 12"/30cm, 18"/45cm, 24"/60cm, 36"/90cm wide.

Arcadia Reptile JungleDawn-LED Bar uses a 'triple track' LED configuration with a high degree of built-in internal protection. JungleDawn-LED Bar will project a very wide, even and usable 'flood' of energy-rich lighting, eliminating the risks of 'point source' LED lamps.
This LED system will both increase visible light levels for terrestrial baskers and provide the energy plants need to grow. JungleDawn-LED Bar creates a tremendous amount of light, greatly reducing the use of large numbers of fluorescent bulbs for plant growth.

Plants need access to the right amount of energy and within the right light spectrum to replace the cells that get damaged or die naturally every day. If we give a plant too little energy, we reduce its ability to create cells through photosynthesis, thus limiting growth. Usually, plants that lack the energy will exhibit discolored leaves and tend to "bulge" as they grow rapidly upward to get closer to a light source. Healthy plants exhibit good color, strong root networks and grow at a moderate rate, evenly.

PAR (Photosynthetic Active Radiation) is the measurement used to quantify and describe the amount of energy produced by a light source. The PAR level is increased by two elements within lighting and they are:
1. The amount of light (Lumen/lux),
2. 2. Accuracy of the spectrum.
If a lamp produces light within a spectrum close to that of natural sunlight and has a high amount (lumen output), it will have a high level of PAR. The higher the PAR, the more energy there is to induce photosynthesis.
