The HabiStat Mat Stat is an on/off thermostat that is ideal for controlling the temperature of heat mats and other heaters with low power up to a maximum load of 300 watts.

When the thermostat is turned on, the power indicator is on and when the heat source is turned on, the heat indicator is on. Please note thatthis thermostat is not suitable for controlling incandescent bulbs. Constantly turning the light bulb on and off would not only worry your animals, but would also lead to the frequent failure of the bulbs. As a result, your thermostat is likely to malfunction. For luminous heat sources, use a HabiStat dimthermo state.
