Our newest gecko diet with the delicious taste of fig and packed with insects. This banana-free formula has a strong fig scent and taste to entice your picky geckos to actually eat. The absence of bananas is perfect for geckos that don't like banana-flavored foods.

By using other fruits as a base, we were able to include fig in the diet and still avoid oxalic acid. We used crickets and larvae of the black soldier as the main source of protein and also farmed mealworms to increase the omega fatty acid content. This formula contains more than double the amount of insects than our original Pangea Gecko Diet with Insects™ formula.

Pangea Gecko Diet with Fig & Insects™ mixes a bit thinner than other formulas due to the lack of the thick consistency of banana powder, but geckos seem to like this thinner mix. It may be more difficult to see licking marks in the feeders, so we recommend offering smaller amounts of food at first to see the food disappear.

Directions for use:

Mix 1 part powder with 2 parts water and adjust to achieve desired consistency. Prepared mix is good for up to 7 days if refrigerated. Opened dry mix is good for 6 months at room temperature or 1 year if refrigerated. Unopened products are best for 24 months (see expiration date). Occasional feeding of insects is recommended but optional.
