Powder blue isopods are a great addition to a humid terrarium. This species is a prolific grower and a great beginner species. Powder Blue isopods are similar to Powder Orange in appearance and ease of care, and they both have an exoskeleton with a powdery texture that looks particularly good in flash shots. Isopods are substrate cleaners, and the adults and nymphs are suitable as supplemental feeders. They like to eat dried leaves and wood, as well as vegetables such as carrots or potatoes. Be sure to keep the substrate moist, as isopods die quickly if their substrate dries out!
