Solar Raptor Mixed Light Emitter 100W

The SolarRaptor UV mixed light lamp is a UV lamp for terrariums. It provides animals with natural light and a broad UVA/UVB spectrum. In addition, the UV lamp emits pleasant heat and provides higher temperatures in the terrarium.

The powerful mixed light source (MVL, Mercury Vapor Lamp) is available in different wattages and is also the right choice for larger desert and steppe terrariums.

The integrated reflector increases the light output many times over. Thanks to the tempered glass used, no dust can burn into the spotlight and retain radiation.

With good UVA and UVB components, SolarRaptor UV mixing lamps support vital D3 synthesis.
UVB is important for the synthesis of vitamin D3 and thus for bone and shell building in reptiles. UVA is elemental for well-being, increases appetite, activity and reproductive behavior of reptiles.

In the terrarium, it should be combined with LED or T5 lights for the basic lighting of the terrarium.

UV lamps should be replaced regularly, as UV levels decrease with use.
UV mixing lamps reliably provide your reptiles with UV for about 1 year - after that the lamps should be replaced.

Ideally, measure your lamp's UV levels with the Solarmeter® 6.2R Reptile UVB or Solarmeter® 6.5R Reptile UV Index to determine the appropriate time for replacement.
